ISSUES IDENTIFIED
This commercial building in Darlinghurst had developed a range of facade defect over time. Visible deterioration was present across multiple elevations, with water entry points identified at the window frames expansion joints, and areas of cracked and delaminated render. Structural wear at the lintels had also progressed to the point where replacement was required before any surface works could proceed.

SOLUTIONS PROVIDED
All works were carried out by rope access abseiling. No scaffolding was erected at any point during the project. The team completed a full facade inspection from rope, identified every defect, and worked through the entire scope in sequence. The building was left with a fully restored, structurally sound, and freshly repainted facade. no scaffolding costs, no street disruption, and no impact on building occupants. All works are covered by a long-term labour warranty.

Pyrmont Council Work
ISSUES IDENTIFIED
A sandstone retaining wall in Pyrmont, serviced as part of a council maintenance program, had developed significant vegetation overgrowth along the full face of the structure. Heavy root systems had penetrated the surface, severe moss and mould buildup was causing moisture retention within the substrate, and early facade damage had been identified and flagged by the council to prevent further structural deterioration. Safe access to the wall required rope access due to the height confined surroundings, and proximity to live pedestrian areas

SOLUTIONS PROVIDED
All works were carried out by rope access abseiling, with zero scaffolding and no disruption to the surrounding pedestrian areas or council infrastructure. The team cleared the full face of the wall, removing all vegetation and root systems with precision to avoid damage to surrounding plants and landscaping. A continuous visual inspection of the surface was conducted throughout the clearance process to assess and document the condition of the substrate. All green waste was bagged and removed from site as part of the scope.
